I started on this animation WAY back in the Winter of 2021. After coming back to it every now and then I’d finally finished it (except for voice acting) last Fall of 2022.
It is the second story of the “Lower Level: Interdimensional Transport Service,” a series I created that follows the lives of expertly trained and deadly couriers working for a company in the year 2150.
Originally, LL:ITS was formed with the specialty of traversing extreme dangers over lightyears of space to deliver packages safely. However, after the downfall of Earth by the hands of a mysterious sentient lifeform known as “The Grass,” an extremely dangerous entity that takes the appearance of grass and spontaneously combusts any organic matter that looks at it, LL:ITS began to put their manpower towards the extensive research and defense against this entity.
This specific short scene tells the story of The Captain searching for a lost comrade, when his Quartermaster informs him that a hostile lifeform is approaching.
